I am a London based trader that focuses on trading currencies.
This blog began in 2009 and was intended to chart my progress using a scalping method based on Cyrox Simple Scalping. As the guys at Cyrox modified their approach, my approach also adapted to trading using Guppy style Multiple Moving Averages (MMA) rather than the Cyrox Rainbow. I would typically scalp in the evenings after getting home from my day job. I found it was possible to make consistent profits with scalping based on MMAs, even using a retail broker (Oanda). However, it was time consuming work.
In June 2011, I started a new job that left me with little time to scalp, so I moved to a longer-term approach. I had also placed some 'swing' trades during my scalping days and I now focus entirely on this longer timeframe approach.
